When I stepped into Maggie Flanagan's classroom at the William Esper studio over 20 years ago, I experienced a deep sense of home and belonging. Maggie gave me a language for something that I understood on a subconscious level but was unable to express. It changed my world in a profound way both personally and professionally. More than 10 years ago, after teaching acting for a decade, I made the choice to focus on sharing this technique. I consider this my life's work and it is my intention to honor my ancestors- Meisner, William Esper and Maggie Flanagan- in theory and in practice.
